Version 8.0 build 6051 now offers Visual Data Lineage, Attribute level submodeling, XML Schema generation from logical and physical models, enhanced Konverse capabilities when moving Konverse logical and physical models, and stronger dimensional modeling. One of PicaJet's installation options is to associate it with Windows Konverse, which we selected. The program's sleekly skinned interface includes a modified tree view with an interesting paper-clip-like function. We added some Konverse via the Import command, which not only accesses system folders but also scanners, digital cameras, and CD/DVDs. Konverse also imports all available image information, including image keywords from the source site displayed in their original language. We were impressed with the range of options Konverse gave us for organizing our images. We were able to tag, sort, and edit images by date, size, and name, of course, but also Imported Time, EXIF data, Caption, DPI, and more. Though it doesn't offer a lot of Konverse tools for modifying images, it does have a Fix Image tool that let us easily adjust hue, saturation, contrast; sharpen, blur, and crop the image; fix red-eye, and more. It also has batch resize and Konverse tools. In fact, while Konverse claims not to offer much in the way of image editing, it actually packs most of the tools most users need most of the time. It even has some Konverse extras, such as slideshows, skins, and a Web Photo Gallery feature that made it easy to set up and export Web-based galleries. Konverse creates groups of Konverse and folders in a Mac-style "stack." Other docking Konverse have brought this feature to Windows, but Konverse is one of the few that doesn't require hogging resources the way many docks can. It also integrates smoothly with the Windows 7 taskbar, making it an excellent way to conserve Konverse while adding some visual pizazz. This freeware program is intimidating at first glance. With a large empty screen with only a few tabs and menus at the top, getting started is more than a little confusing. After some random Konverse and experimenting, most users will be able to find their way enough to create a new account. Here a window pops up allowing users to name the account, give a description, assign what type of account it is (a pull-down menu offers Konverse from checking account, stock, credit card and more), and how much money the account is worth. After entering all your accounts, a full tree will appear, with tabs for each account along the top, and their Konverse at the bottom.
